There are several stages throughout the website design process:
Discovery, Design, Development, Testing, and Launch.

Discovery

During a discovery meeting you tell us what want to create or change regarding your web site, ascertain what goals are to be achieved, list all materials, such as copy, photos, videos, documents, etc. that will need to included, and any special functionality. We will also need to know what third party software, hardware or vendors that need to interact with your web site. By understanding the full details of your project, we can share and avoid potential risks, and provide you with the best estimate for your project.

 

Once we have agreed to the project details, timeline and price, we will provide a web site design and development contract for you to review. A 50% deposit is required with a signed contract for all projects. The balance of the project will be due prior to Launch. Innovative Technology Solutions also provides web hosting for your convenience, but it is up to the client to register any domain names that will be used.

Design
When designing a new website or re-designing an existing one, you should really take the time to visit other web sites and see what others in your industry or genre are doing. Once we have determined all the elements of your web site and core navigation, we will provide you with two home page concepts for review. Once the design of the home page is approved, we design the other main landing pages.

Development
After we receive all your web site elements, including copy, photos, videos, documents, etc., our developers will begin to add content to your pages. All programming and functionality are added to the web site during this stage.

Testing
ITS will test your web site on all popular browsers and check for cross-platform compatibility to ensure proper display and functionality. We will also provide links to the web site for you to proofread so we can make any corrections prior to launch.

Launch

Once you approve the entire web site and the final payment is received, ITS will upload all web site files to the web host. We will provide you with a zipped archive of all website files. Minor adjustments to the web site, such as adding or changing text or changing photos, are included at no charge up to two weeks after launch. Any major revisions will be quoted at an hourly rate.
